REMEMBERING SUNNY...

Early in the morning of June 21, 2010 the world lost a great soul.  Sunny passed away after a battle with cancer.  She was a beloved pet, friend, and family member of Laure and Duke's family.  

Sunny was adopted from the Humane Society in Barre when she was four months old. Her older brother 'Lil Bud' wasn't too sure about her at first, but quickly warmed up to her and she became one of the family.  Sunny also shared a strong bond with her younger brother Manny, teaching him the ropes of working at Lucky Dog and putting him in his place when he needed it.  

Sunny's favorite pastime was "working" at Lucky Dog.  Sunny was the queen of the dog pen.  She loved to play with the other dogs, keeping the dogs in line, and herding the dogs for Laure and Duke when they needed to bring them in. After spending long days in the pen "supervising" for Laure and Duke, Sunny enjoyed relaxing at the Punch Bowl with nice cool swim.

Sunny will be missed greatly by Laure, Duke, and Manny.  She will also be missed by all the dogs and owners who visit Lucky Dog, as she was always so excited to welcome everyone to Lucky Dog.  While Sunny may no longer be at Lucky Dog, her spirit will forever be there.
